Project Description

INGRAM BRACKEN PROJECT

INGRAM BRACKEN PROJECT – HISTORIC ENVIRONMENT SURVEY AND RESEARCH

Solstice Heritage has been commissioned by Historic England, as part of a consortium, to provide heritage consultancy input, archaeological monitoring and specialist survey to a long-term research project, in partnership with Natural England and landowners and tenants, in the Northumberland and Dartmoor National Parks. Our works are focused on contributing to the development of successful, non-chemical methods of controlling bracken in sensitive archaeological landscapes, partly working within the largest scheduled monument in England, at Ingram, Northumberland.
Our value to the client is the peace of mind we offer, given our proven, long-term track record of project delivery in sensitive landscapes working with a number of different stakeholders.
